Alb- SML™

  • Human Normal Albulin 20%, 20gms available in 100ml and 50ml
  • Albumin stabilizes circulating blood volume and is a carrier of hormones, enzymes, medicinal products and toxins.,
  • Reduces haemoconcentration and decreases blood viscosity
  • Indicated in Hypovolaemic shock, Hypoalbuminemia, Burns, Hemolytic Disease of the Newborn, Plasma exchange /dialysis, Spontaneous bacterial peritonitis
  • Dosage and Administration: Intravenous route of administration. Dosage and the infusion rate should be adjusted to the patient's individual requirements. Dose required depends on the body weight of the patient, the severity of trauma or illness and on continuing fluid and protein losses

Globin- SML™

  • Human Normal Immunoglobulin 5% available in 100ml and 50ml
  • Indicated in all autoimmune disorders and Primary immunodeficiency diseases
  • Human plasma is highly purified under various membrane filters, chromatographic steps and viral inactivation steps.
  • Each batch of plasma pool screened for antibodies of HIV1&2, HBsAg, & HCV.
  • Dosage: Primary Immunodeficiency- The recommended dose of IVIg for patients with primary Immunodeficiency is 300 to 600 mg/kg administered every 3 to 4 weeks. Adjust the dosage over time to achieve the desired serum trough levels and clinical responses. If a patient misses a dose, administer the missed dose as soon as possible, and then resume scheduled treatments every 3 or 4 weeks, as applicable
  • Idiopathic Thrombocytopenic Purpura (ITP): The usual dosage for the treatment of acute and chronic ITP is 200-400 mg/kg daily given for 5 consecutive days. The additional doses are discontinued if an adequate response does not occur.
  • Infusion rate- 0.01 - 0.02 mL/kg/min for the first 30 minutes and increase up to 0.06 mLkg/min if there are no adverse effects.
